Chemistry

The Chemistry department performs a variety of tests on samples including drinking water, environmental samples, food and chemical products. Types of analyses range from the classical bench techniques such as pH, Biological Oxygen Demand, Total Dissolved Solids, and a variety of titration techniques, to modern instrumental techniques such as Total Organic Halides and Ion Chromatography. In addition the Wet Chemistry department also houses our UV Spectroscopy lab
