 GC/MS
The Gas
Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry Department provides for
the more intensive analysis and identification of a variety
of organic compounds. The department provides for the analysis
of semi volatile organic compounds in liquid and solid matrices
and for the analysis of volatile organic constituents in liquids,
solids and air. Again all of the volatile instruments in this
department are equipped with
Archon™ autosamplers  which
adhere to the closed sampling and Encore™ requirements
specified in EPA 5035. For air analysis automation is achieved
through multiport electronically switched valves.
